April Beatty Orf founded EBS in 2003, driven by her passion for connecting exceptional talent with organizations that match. Since the very beginning, April has poured her heart into building relationships between great candidates and great companies.
As a working manager, she oversees day-to-day operations while also staying deeply involved in the recruitment process. Her greatest strength is building lasting relationships with clients and creating genuine connections with candidates, ensuring that every placement is a perfect fit for clients and candidates alike. For April, recruitment isn’t just about filling an open position; it’s about creating lasting partnerships that drive success for the long term.
Outside of work, April is equally dedicated to her family. As a wife and mother of three, she balances her thriving career with family life. When she isn’t leading EBS, you can often find her on the sidelines of her children’s sports games. The ASH, WCA, Kirk, and sports communities have become her extended family.
April's love for what she does shines through in the way she leads her team and connects with both clients and candidates. For her, there’s nothing more rewarding than making that perfect match.
ebs was built on the foundation of family and friendship, with each letter representing someone meaningful in April's life: her two eldest children, Elizabeth and Brennan, and her late friend, Sandy Lindhorst, who bravely battled pancreatic cancer. Today, April is supported by her family including her husband, Rick, and her three children - Elizabeth, Brennan, and Logan. The people in April's life continue to shape the heart of ebs.
